The Mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, the co-presidents of the Tuscan American Association, Andrea L. Davis and Maurizio Mancianti, and the Consul General of the United States in Florence Benjamin V. Wohlauer are pleased to invite you to the traditional TUSCAN AMERICAN AWARD CEREMONY 2019, which will be held Tuesday,March 5, 2019 at 5 pm in the Salone de’ 500 of Palazzo Vecchio.

Given the close relationship that binds the Association and the US Consulate in Florence, the Consul General Benjamin V. Wohlauer wanted this initiative to be included among the events celebrating the 200-year anniversary of the US Consulate in Florence. The ceremony will be held in English. It will be followed by a reception to honor the 2019 award recipients, Jules Maidoff, artist, founder and president emeritus of SACI – Studio Arts College International, and Dr. Chiara Azzari, head of Immunology at Meyer Hospital and recipient, with her research team, of the Help the Children project.
